The reason chamomile tea works is because it has a very powerful flavonoid called apigenin.. apigenin has been found to promote good sleep among subjects but it comes with a gotcha. Apigenin can give you nightmares, I found it in the podcast by Andrew Huberman where he talks about the sleep cocktail, and I have experienced it personally too, but over a prolonged usage of 5-6 days at a stretch.. I don’t know if that number is backed by evidence but that’s from my personal experience!

I have been enjoying Teabox Chamomile tea for about more than a year. Initially, it had more Chamomile flowers in the pack so had good flavour and colour. However, this time I found the company started cheated us but putting very little Chamomile. As a result taste are now bland and no such flavour. Price is getting high but quality getting poor. Do not waste your money on this product.
