This OPI classic nail polish takes me back to the traditional nail varnish we all used before acrylic nail enhancements became the trend in the ’90s. It does have a slight odour, but it is not overpowering; in fact, it is rather subtle. It does take a few minutes to dry, though.
What I particularly like about it is the shimmering effect it creates. When applied to well-prepped nails with a smooth surface, this nail varnish gives off a beautiful, almost pearlescent shimmer.
These days, it is rare to see anyone applying nail varnish directly onto bare nails. To achieve long-lasting results, I applied a base coat before the varnish and finished it off with a top coat. This combination ensured that my nails stayed chip-free and didn’t thin out throughout the entire week.
Overall, this is a lovely nail varnish that doesn’t require any additional equipment like UV or LED lights and can last for around 15-17 days.

This varnish is nice to apply. It goes on easy and smoothly.
For me, I wouldn’t say it’s any longer lasting than other nail varnish I’ve used, so if this is more expensive than your regular type, buy it for the lovely colour selections – but don’t be swayed by the longer lasting statement.

Great quality nail varnish, and such a pretty colour, with just the right amount of sparkle.
It glides onto the nail really easily and nicely. Even if your nails aren’t the best, (which mine aren’t) the lacquer formula seems to fill in any imperfections, so your nails look smooth and perfect.
The only niggle I had with it, was that the bottle wasn’t sealed in anyway, which was a little unusual.
Otherwise, it’s a great product, and this ‘Salty Sweet Nothings’ is a really pretty colour that will suit many different occasions.
