This fish oil product is great for optical wellness, and for years I’ve bought and appreciated this supplement. Then months ago I ordered the 180 count rather to smaller quantity to get better pricing. The tablets arrived melted together into an unbreakable clump. Nordic kindly sent me a replacement once, but now it has happened again and they won’t. So, my review cautions and recommends do not order the 180 count unless you have the chance to shake the bottle hear it rattle first.

My bottle must have had one or more gelcaps open up inside. I received it like this from the get go. I didn’t think much of it but turns out it somehow fused ALL the gelcaps inside (like 170+ gelcaps) together and no matter what I do, I cant even get one gelcap to even break free. What’s even more sad is the fact that I’m willing to consume a nasty, fish smelling, godawful smelling and tasting fish oil gelcap and even still, nope not one of them would break free from the fused cluster. Talk about a waste of $110… my recommendation is to avoid the largest sized option, despite the savings, if it happened to me it could happen to you. Don’t let it. Avoid the large size of this product. Avoid please! I hope this helps someone Dodge a hundred plus dollar deletion of funds because I sure wish I would’ve had a heads up of this possibility.

Pretty upset over the ordeal I try not to think bout it but this product popped up on my browsing tonight so I thought to spend a little time to let the world know of my problems regarding this product and the unforeseen consequences that is of zero fault of my own. Hope they do something so this never ever happens. What a waste of resources from both sides.

I take these for my arthritis, chronic pain, cardiovascular protection and for dry eye. Excellent product with no fishy burps. I am not a fan of fish, so this is an important feature for me. Been taking these for years. Helps decently well for the dry eye, but it takes a couple months of daily use before it starts to make a difference. It is marginally helpful for the pain issues. Since it helps with my eyes, I am sticking with it.
I once had a bottle a year or so ago that had gotten a bit old (but not beyond the product expiration date) and it seemed kind of off. Smelled like fish, tasted like fish and gave me fishy burps. I used it up because I don’t like to waste things. Meanwhile, I think the product may have been reformulated and improved. No fishyness at all anymore and I am grateful. The capsules I bought recently are slimmer and are tapered at each end. Not difficult to swallow because they are soft and a bit slippery when I take a drink of water.

Good product. I’ll keep buying it.
