It sure does have the cooling menthol effect just like any other garnier product that I have used. But after application and pat drying the face, it leaves the skin extremely dry. Thus it is not suitable for winters. It sure does say ” For very oily skin”, I am not sure how much oily the skin can become for an individual. Thus it is not suitable for anyone. I recommend buying the somewhat more expensive ones cause they do not Overly dry the face and also keep it moisturized and respect the natural oil balance of the skin.

When I received the wash it felt light like there wasn’t much in there. I took a wooden straw and treated it like a car dipstick. When I took it out and put against the bottle it was slightly less than half full. I understand there needs to be room for the pump tube but less than half, I don’t think so. Feel cheated. Won’t buy again.

It produced a lot of lather for bangalore type hard water, and felt fresh and cool as well no doubt.
But i doubt that it worked at all on my very oily skin. I guess it did but my skin kept producing more oil i am not sure, but happy with the product and shape and design made it easy to use.

I am giving this product five stars for its oil control ability. However, keep this away from yours eyes as much as possible! This will dry out your tear ducts and that could be painful! It happened to me and that’s why I’m issuing this warning. Also, it is so strong that you don’t need to use it daily. I suggest once very two or three days.
