This product works great preventing sunburn but if I get it too close to my eyes they burn and become watery. Also, it feels greasy to me unless I wear makeup over it.

I love neutrogena products. My dermatologist told me to use this as I am prone to breakouts. I do not recommend this for everyday use but more for hanging by the pool or beach. If you want an everyday spf for under the makeup buy Neutrogena Healthy Defense.

There is nooothing better than this face sunscreen. I used to have severe chronic acne and this was the only sunscreen that kept the complexion of my skin and didn’t interrupted my skin texture. 100/10. Will never look away

I have both the ultra sheer dry touch (spf 55) and the current product, the clear face (spf 50). I would say that the clear face was a tiny bit more shiny than the ultra sheer dry touch. However, once you rub it in and let it dry down the differences in shininess were negligible/indistinguishable. The clear face did feel more greasy/smoother than the ultra sheer, but it definitely still is non-greasy and non-oily. I would consider both to be matte. It just felt like the ultra sheer had more friction and was more powdery if that makes sense.
I did notice that in very heavy applications, the ultra sheer would pill more than the clear face. When I rubbed the spot with the ultra sheer it started to pill up significantly more than the clear face. However, both still did great in not pilling up in general. If I had to guess, I would say that material used in the more powdery and matte feeling in the ultra sheer is the culprit of the increased pilling.
The ultra sheer had a twist off cap, and flat tip with a hole like the la roche posay sunscreens. This means that it is easy to clean and get all the sunscreen off.
With the clear face, it has a pop off cap which is still attached, allowing for easier one hand use. But this does mean that it is messier as you can’t get all sunscreen out of the concave tip. Sunscreen builds up on the tip cover as well which is annoying.
Both sunscreens will sting if they get into your eyes. Both also initially leave a tiny bit of a white cast in heavy applications but disappear once you rub it in and give it a few minutes to dry down.
If you have a costco membership, Costco has the ultra sheer dry touch 5oz + 3 oz for $16 which is more value. I advise you to get that since the differences between the ultra sheer and clear face is negligible.
