The product is good. I applied it overnight against the advice, but it worked well. It did t dry out my hair. There is less hair breakage. Now the smell part. It smells a lot like Red cockroach Hit mixed with some other fragrance. The smell is actually unbearable, but it is working fine on hair strands, so I tolerate it.

I have bleached and colour treated 2C hair that is prone to breakage so I decided to give this serum a try.
It’s very difficult to get the scent out of your hair. I usually shampoo my hair twice during a wash, but this serum requires 3 applications of shampoo to completely wash off (I use the dove intense repair shampoo). The first time I tried it, i followed my regular hair wash routine and noticed that my hair had an off – putting smell and the texture felt extremely rough in the areas with the left over serum.
The second time I tried it i washed my hair thrice and although it got the smell off, the texture difference wasn’t that significant. My hair did feel a bit more soft and manageable but it wasn’t that noticeable. My conditioner does the same job. Plus I feel like washing my hair thrice to get the smell off stripped a lot of moisture away. Kinda defeats the whole purpose of the serum.
Maybe it just takes longer to work but I’m not entirely satisfied with the product. I think I kept my expectations too high as all the other minimalist products I’ve tried worked soo well. The maleic bond serum is just ehh.

I swim almost daily. Hence, the hair length tends to dry out due to chlorine water. I have applied the serum for an hour followed with double wash with shampoo. My hair felt smoother,less frizz,silkier and stronger. I can feel the difference from first use. Using it twice a week. I don’t like the strong smell though.

It has a really weird fragrance but it really works. I wish I can apply it for longer I mean more than 1 hour. I saw the different in just two washes. It helps to repair you hair porosity and bonds. We all damage our hair in some way or the other , this is a great way to heal them and also easily.

It smells like a very weird chemical, feels the same. Didn’t feel a huge difference after couple of washes. Will update after using it for few more times.

I was really scared when I heard about the fact that this serum or any other bond repair serum dryout hair.
I used this serum today for 10-12 mins because only problem my hair has split ends and that increases during hot summer and this serum did not dryout my hair my hair strand feel stronger end part doesnot feel dry and weak like usually I feel after hair wash.
No problem from smelling part as well but yes it create tingling sensation on my hand and when I apply it on hair ,hair become stiff ,like if egg get dry on hair strand it makes hair stiff that kind of stiff. I did apply shampoo, conditioner and hair serum as well with this treatment.
Still need to use more to say if it reduced split ends. but I think timing and quantity is the key here. I have long slight curly low porosity hair. and the quantity I used 1pump . I think for more damage hair like color treated hair need to keep them longer on hair.
So far happy with the product. I will update my review after 2 or 3 months.
