I love this product. The smell is of the original Dove smell if you know it. I use a wet shower puff and hold the spout up close and squirt an amount into it so it pentrates inside, would be the equivalent of a golf ball maybe a tiny bit bigger. This lathers up really well and if done right your able to do your whole body with one squirt like that. When I mean right… if you have the water continuelly flowing over you while washing then its going to wash it away before you finished as this is a very light foam, so wet yourself, turn the shower away and lather up. This is great stuff and leaves me feeling nice and fresh and smelling nice. I think that its possibly a little over priced but that being said I am still on my first can and have plenty left in there for a fair few more showers, so in the grand scheme of things the amount of time its lasting me that might not be a bad price after all.

The mousse works very well in the shower, imparting a fresh smell and lathering nicely on a sponge. It does wash awy quite quickly, though, so you end up using quite a lot. Given teh cost, this makes it something of an expensive luxury if you don’t take care.

Dove Nourishing Shower Mousse: Well, shower mousse is a new one on me, I’ve never used it before but was keen to give it a try. The benefit is it both cleanses and moisturises without the tacky oily feeling you get with some moisturising washes or the sense of tightening skin with soap based body wash.
It’s quite thick and creamy and spreads well on wet skin, it also has that lovely fresh, lightly perfumed Dove smell which lingers on the skin for a while after showering. To wash your whole-self you need a fair amount and I’m not yet clear how long it might last at the moment – could work out expensive… What you don’t want to do it waste this by allowing the shower to wash it away before you’ve actually benefited, it does rinse off rather quickly and easily. My trick is to turn the water off after I’ve stood under for a few moments (I routinely do this to save a bit of water) then use the Mousse etc. before turning the shower back on to rinse.
It’s a really nice product, at £3.99 it’s in the medium price range, wether it’s good value will depend on how long it lasts but it’s rather nice on the skin. I’m hoping Santa might bring me another!
