I use it to dye my hair, gives good long lasting results with good color release. No grittiness, I can tell it’s been sifted a lot, washed out and didn’t clog my drain at all, would recommend

Tried indigo after learning that it can give a natural black shade. Transformation was amazing. Henna powder gives a reddish brown color and once you apply indigo the next day all the previously greys are turned to black. I used to apply henna for conditioning before and later to cover greys. Off late as the greys are ever growing and have taken over a greater part of a side the henna hue used to be very prominent. After i started using indigo all the greys have turned to natural black and i absolutely love my hair.

The best part is the hair looks and feels conditioned too, my frizzy hair is lot more tamed now, also it gives a natural color. It doesn’t globally cover greys like a dye and depends on the application like we may miss one or two greys here and there which blend and it looks and feels natural. While fading out also the greys do not appear like a grey patch, they more of less naturally blend and it doesn’t look odd at all. I have long hair and i apply once in a month or so and it has worked great.

Coming to cons, not exactly cons but thats the way indigo is. The whole process is a bit messy. Indigo doesn’t hold water well like henna. Water gets separated and it drips a bit, a lot if you have mixed more water than required. Keep a separate dark coloured top aside when you are planning to as it may leave stains. Henna mask and indigo mask a day later can keep your hair and head wet for 2/3 hrs a day. And again the next day you wash it. If you’re someone who catch cold easily or have sinus problems it may cause a bit of discomfort.

 Mind blowing results….My hairs are naturally pitch black in colour…but due to age factor and dye touch-up to roots my hairs only from rooms were turned to white mostly in front ..Common green mehndi gives golden orange tint to roots and hairs that looks so bad on pitch black hairs..
I tried this Carmel indigo leaves powder..and …Magic…
My hair roots are black now…that matches to my long black hairs too.
Do not mix with common green mehndi if you want black colour to hairs.
Just take appropriate amount of indigo powder and add Luke warm water.No need to add coffee or tea water etc.. if you want to add something..then can add amla powder or juice..
