When I first opened this product, I was a bit confused because it smelled something that would be used as a body spray… given the cologne fragrance, but it lists as a deodorant. I gave it a try as a deodorant, and it actually worked decently. It masked odors for a good chunk of the day but doesn’t quite work like some of the other deodorants that also absorb odors. Another thing that threw me for a loop was it is a spritz pump that is often used for body sprays, where the aerosol deodorants I typically use have a continuous spray as long as you press the nozzle head. The spray is quite strong, but masculine. The smell is something I may want in place of a cologne on a formal night out.

Great scent, leagues better than the cheap stuff from department stores. It’s a bit woodsy, mostly a sweet cedar, without the resinous pine/pitch scent. It also has just a tinge of orange zest, more toward the bitter, bergamot variety than sweet. The scent isn’t acrid, and doesn’t burn your nostrils like axe does.
It sticks around on clothes all day without being overpowering. One spritz was enough to provide scent without smelling like a teenager.
The can is non aerosol, which is preferred on my opinion.

I prefer deodorant to anti-perspirant. Sure anti-perspirants will barricade sweat, but they are often aluminum based and I worry about long term consequences of daily use. Deodorant is the healthier choice IMHO.
For some strange reason, though I’m a female, I’ve always preferred wearing men’s deodorant fragrances (except for of date night). Men’s fragrances smell more clean; and as a woman, I seriously feel like men’s fragrances put me in a better all around mood.
–> As for the FRAGRANCE itself: Like many fragrances, this goes on smelling very powerful. A little goes a long ways. Give yourself a good 10 minutes before getting in small quarters with someone. Once it calms down, it is very pleasant.
The smell is clean and sporty versus musky and woody. Definitely masculine versus androgynous.
I’ve worn all kinds of men’s deodorants over the years, and this is one where people might notice I am wearing a man’s cologne (which is not my intent, but I like I said, I just feel these scents keep me in a better mood, if only a placebo effect).
The fragrance lasts for a good duration of time. Hence the five stars.

This smells quite nice. Nothing unpleasant about it, though it’s not necessarily anything special. My wife likes it so that’s all that matters. Comes in a nice can with solid-feeling cap. The only thing that’s a little weird is the way it sprays. The can is the type of can you’d expect to get an aerosol from, but when you press the sprayer it comes out almost like it’s just being pumped into an atomizer with no pressure in the can. The result is that it’s more of a stream than a mist.

Let me preface this with: I’m allergic to pretty much every deodorant, I have to use the plain stuff. I’ve always suspected it’s something weird with the ingredients they put into it, aluminum etc. So when I saw this is made in France it intrigued me, because I’ve heard they have strict laws for manufacturing. This is not aerosol either, it sprays kind of like a water sprayer. Now for the big questions?
Does it work? Yes, it works great and stays on all day.
Does it smell nice? Yes, you smell amazing.
Did it leave you itchy/scratching? No, and this was the amazing part for me.
So there’s something in the American stuff that my body doesn’t like. And for those reasons I’m in here. My new favorite deodorant. Docked 1 star for being pricey.
