It’s an effective razor. The one swipe promise is real.
The shave was thorough and neat.
The stubble is taking forever to come back!
The suction back and blade protector cover are thoughtful touches.
All in all, a good buy for the price.
BUT, it is exactly like a hardy, functional men’s razor. I compared it to my husband’s and it literally looks the same.
Everything from the name – DEFENDER (what exactly am I supposed to be defending?!?), colours, design, shape, blade structure, grip gives it the look and feel of a man’s razor. It is also made of some odd rubbery material and feels very tacky to hold.
Unlike my Gillette Venus it does not have any contours that hug different parts of a woman’s body or swivelling head that can actually help protect from nicks and cuts, nor does it have a protective aloe vera strip or the soft, soothing colours that make a razor more comfortable female friendly.
If you love men’s razors and don’t reallt care about the comparative features that are missing, this is for you.

I’ve never had ever a cut/bump/nick/aftershave irritation & sensitivity free shaving session but this.. it COMPLETELY changed my shaving game.
• It’s so smoothly glides over your skin.
• Will never give you any cut or those traditional shaving problems [but, you shouldn’t be careless because it’s a razor.. and yes.. if you purposely try.. it can give you cuts & nicks]
• I have extremely sensitive skin, but, it never gave me bumps or irritation after the shave.
• Anti-clog design really works very well. I’m a big fan of it ! It makes the shaving much easier, quicker and a pleasure..!
• The grip of this one is sooooo damn good, I cannot tell you !
• The colour is girly, fantastic & AMAZING ! The black hints in the blade gives it a premium and classy look.
It’s far better than all razors out there, comparatively the “Venus”. Goodness, it has cut me more than a hundred times ! It’s blades go dull really soon and it can give you bumps and all. But, with the “Defender for Her”, it’s nothing like that ! Thanks, Bombay Shaving Company
