one of the best coffee for all coffee lovers. It has a nice fragrance and it really tastes delicious and refreshing. ✨

A good coffee is made up of two main things – flavour & caffeine content aka strength . This one has only the second going for it that too partially & I’ll tell you why.
A dark roast is the worst way to get the highest caffeine content out. It literally destroys it along with the subtle flavours because the oils can’t withstand the heat.
A strong coffee with a good flavour will ideally be a medium roast – although with a less stronger taste but caffeine will be preserved.
Another important factor is how you dry it – common floor heat method is cheap but you lose more flavour. Freeze drying is superior but expensive. For a coffee with MRP of 799 & online price of 320 it should be a MUST. Otherwise it CANNOT be called a premium coffee with a superior taste – as simple as that.
Nevertheless here the taste is way milder & understated – it’s not bitter as many people don’t like it but then it’s not having a bold characteristic taste of coffee too. Every cup I drink I tend to fantasise adding something like a Monin flavour just to “feel” something more nicer. :’)
I need to use 1.5-2 spoons minimum in a 300ml cup to get any taste whereas with Bru Gold for example I’ll need 1-1.25 spoon max as any more will make it highly caffeinated & bitter-ish.
In the end I wouldn’t mind a bit of common coffee or hazelnut etc flavouring to be added to this line just to make it more “lively” as at the end of the day what’s the point of pure coffee when it doesn’t even taste like one, right?
P.s – I wish more coffee brands would adopt Robusta beans which have a huge 50% more caffeine content vs Arabica. That allows a much stronger coffee in lesser amount too. You guys can see how I’m tending to be biased with BrGOLD because of their two factors – freeze dried & robusta use at a similar price point. Sorry can’t help it it’s just the objective truth. 😉

The one thing that filter coffee offers is that refreshing & mesmerizing aroma when you pour the first cup in the morning. My favourite brand of ground beans was unavailable so bought this one on a whim. It probably has the caffeine as it satiates my need for a strong cup for the day but there is just no aroma or a flavor to boot.
Give this a miss if you’re a coffee enthusiast looking for something strong in instant one’s before moving on to the real stuff. You’re better off dumping a few extra dimes on that Nescafe or Davidoff dark roast.

Instant coffees tend to taste very similar, no matter which brand u purchase, at whichever price point; they all have the same kind of bitter afternote profiles, similar kind of smell(unless the product is flavoured), or aroma (or lack of it).
However, my experience of this particular product from Bevzilla (Dark Wish), has been quite different, n definitely better than all other instant coffees i have tried. Not exactly sure about the caffeine content, but it definitely tastes good. The bitterness is really well balanced, n it still has that coffee like aroma that’s missing from most instant coffees.
N then the price factor is on point as well. Very affordable. Though, i dont know why the MRP is valued at such height.
All in all, Bevzilla is my current choice for instant coffee, both Dark Wish n Premium, n i like the Dark Wish better.
Would definitely recommend to other coffee aficionados.
