Not the best quality of seaweed in my opnion(I have lived in japan). the flavour of sea is strong and it overpowers if you put in soups

I run of my stock of seaweed which is usually from Asian country, so I decided to get one from Amazon to give it a try.
This seaweed has its nice mild flavor and I don’t see too much difference from what I usually use. So I’ll buy this again happily if I run out my stock again.
Price wise it’s expensive, but it’s not local “Indian” ingredient so it can not help it, I think.

Just as info for those who don’t know how to use this, we use it for miso soup, or you could put this in your salad also (nice to mix it with tomato/cucumber with vinegar & soy sauce based dressing). Before using it for your cooking, you need to soak it in water as this is “dried” seaweed.

You need barely 1 tsp of this dried stuff. Just add hot water & it balloons into a bowl full of seaweed. Can also directly add to rice that’s cooking. Great source of iodine. 👌🏻👍🏻

It is dried so it is hard and cannot be eaten directly. Boiled it for some time and it grows in size. It is a bit chewy and smells like anchovies/ fishy. Try small amount first.
