So I don’t know about nutrition and all. Not going to speak to that. But here’s everything I loved about it:
I was sceptical to try this because I was wondering how it’d taste. It’s very umami and yeasty. It’s not cheesy as they say in the videos and all
But it’s a beautiful, subtle, nutty, MSG-type, yeasty flavour.
I put one packet of act 2 in the microwave. As soon as it was done, sprinkled a heck load of this nutritional yeast and then shook the bag like crazy!
The taste was so good, I ended up heating another bag🤣🤣🤣
Definitely a condiment you’d wanna have in your home.

I bought the 1Kg packet and although it tastes just fine but I realised that they are selling the fortified nutritional yeast, which means that it has artificially added vitamins and minerals which are not good for health. They haven’t even disclosed what are the vitamins and minerals they have fortified it with and what are the amounts which are natural. Usually, the artificial vitamins which are added are of poor form and quality. I would suggest that they start selling unfortified version also for health-conscious people.

Experience depends on your culinary skills. I add it to soya chunks, goes well with it. Need to figure out other use cases/recipes.

I wouldn’t go as far to call it a substitute for cheese.Coz it’s clearly not.
It’s a mildly flavoured cheesy powder that can be sprinkled over a sandwich, popcorn or fries.If you put it in a smoothie or soup the flavour is way too mild to be discernible.
I tried it over pizza and pasta and certainly did enhance the flavour profile.
However the pizza and pasta already had cheese in it.
It’s exorbitant for the quantity received.
But it’s still good quality nutritional yeast and would keep well on the shelf for atleast a year.
