The material is so soft that it does not open properly. And I have years experience using menstrual cups. This one by far is the worst

I love this product!!!
At first is a little hard to get it Bc you have to learn how to fold the cup properly and the best way so you can get use doing it but once you get it it’s awesome, no leaks, go over the night without problem and the best of it my cramps reduced like 90% and to me it feels like any other day;
I highly recommend not only for the way you will feel after learning but also the quality of this material is unbelievable the only thing I had to cut the little tail on the end Bc on the first day I was feeling a lot awhile I’ve walked but after the cut nothing, to be honest for a moment during my day I’ve forgot that I was on those days and simply my day went by like if it was a normal day;
Please don’t be afraid of getting lost inside Bc it won’t and learn about your body is a blessing;
I actually wanted to say thanks to this company for making those and supporting also the woman’s at India as well is not everyone who has the same privilege as us; Thank you so much for putting such a hard work to do a really good product and to support other women’s which doesn’t have access to necessarily hygiene, thank you for making it possible…

I’ve been wanting to try this cup since a long time and finally got it last month, i used it accordingly and yes it did fit me well i felt like im not even on my period and i didn’t feel anything like there’s something inside me, i was concerned about leakage but it didn’t leak at all. only thing that i felt discomfort with, was the removal. i did the pinching thing while removing it opens in it’s normal shape and it pained bad cause skin around the opening stretched. i think it’s because of my first time usage and maybe i was not removing it properly . will learn it in future, there’s no going back to pads(pads are the worst for our body)

I’ve been using this menstrual cup for past three years. I believe switching to menstruation cups from sanitary napkins was the best decision I have ever made. When it comes to safety and hygiene, I was initially doubtful, but I now believe that this is more hygienic than sanitary napkins. I’m relieved that I don’t have to replace them for at least 4 hours.
I only want to provide one criticism about the product’s size. It is stated that a person over the age of 35 who had a normal delivery should choose the larger size.
I got the larger one after following it without thinking, but it was too big for me. I had to switch to the smaller size, which was ideal, and occasionally the stick pokes me. I recommend against simply adhering to the product size because every person’s body is unique. I’m happy with the Sirona Menstrual Cup overall.

This menstrual cup was a bit smaller than I expected however it came with a cute bag and lotion. The packaging was nice as well

I bought this cup two years ago and never got around to writing a review. For context, I just turned 16 and I have been using the small size since I was 14. After all this time, I feel like I finally know it well enough to give my full thoughts ( I’ve also included some tips at the end of the review ).
This is easily the most comfortable menstrual product I have ever used. I was a little scared going into it, especially because I’d seen nobody my age try it yet, and it took me a long time to properly figure out how to use it. But since I made that leap, it has made life so much easier. I’ve gone cycling, skating, running – all on my period with no issue at all.
I can sit or sleep in any position I want and that has drastically reduced the amount of discomfort I feel. It has never leaked, at least not since I figured out how to insert it properly. It doesn’t hurt. I only have to change it around 3-4 times on the heaviest day ( between 6 to 8 hours ). On any other day I usually only have to change it twice, following a 9-11 hour cycle. Doesn’t take long to change once you get the hang of it. I can empty and reinsert in less than 5 minutes.
I strongly recommend you look up size charts and do your research to figure out what is best for you, and also look up health risks or speak to your doctor if you’re worried about them. As long as you follow the hygiene instructions, you should be fine.
The only downside I can think of it that you can’t really change it in places that don’t have a good water supply, so most public restrooms won’t be suitable if you’re outside.
If you’re considering getting it, and especially if you’re a young teenager and worried that it’s not suitable for you, I recommend you try it out. I am definitely never going back to pads.
SOME TIPS FOR FIRST TIMERS:
1. Don’t panic if the stem has gone further inside by the time you’re taking the cup out. Just take a deep breath and push, it will slope down itself until you’re able to reach the stem.
2. Don’t just pull on the stem to take the cup out. Pull it gently only to the point where you can reach the base of the cup. Once most of the stem is out, reach up with the tips of your forefinger and thumb and pinch the base of the cup while tugging on it gently.
3. Since the cup is soft, it sometimes doesn’t open up once it’s inside, and it can be tricky to get it to unfurl. This was the biggest difficulty of being a first timer for me and the main reason why it took me so long to use the cup properly. My personal solution is this: I use the punch down fold and once most of the cup ( about three fourth ) is inside, I pinch the base of the cup and push it the rest of the way inside while keeping it in that position. ( Pinching the base forces the fold to open up.
4. Don’t ignore the hygiene instructions at any cost. Clean the cup and your hands well before you insert, or you could end up with an infection. Don’t use harsh or scented soaps to clean the cup. Just clean it with warm water and boil it at the start and end of your cycle. Keep your hands clean at all times while handling it.
5. Don’t let it stay inside for more than 12 hours. That time limit is there for a reason. Even if your flow is light, take it out within 12 hours or you run the risk of an infection or other health complications.
6. It can be a little messy. If you can’t handle looking at the blood or if you’re uncomfortable messing around down there, that’s completely understandable, this just isn’t the right product for you.
I hope you give it a try and have a positive experience. There is a learning curve involved so don’t be discouraged if you don’t get it right away.

This device is awesome, and I cant rate it highly enough. It feels like I don’t even have a period when wearing, and lasts up to 12 hours just fine.
M Neil –
This is a great product but requires some practice before actual usage. I’d recommend practicing to wear it on your non-period days so that you get used to it and avoid any surprises during actual periods. Definitely better than sanitary pads if you learn how to use it well.
One thing to keep in mind if travelling – You need water to clean this and reuse. Can’t just discard it like napkins.
