It didn’t taste like gherkin pickles at all. Better go for homemade. At home you can prepare it according to your preferable taste. This one is just too sweet to taste.

A proper German gherkin has salt spice and peppercorn, maybe a touch of sugar, but these were/ are too sweet
No wonder peoples diabetes gets out of control with all this hidden sugar
I will however, keep the jar to make my own pickled gherkin
