I love this masala. For people who have found some problem with this. I would suggest, please buy one weighing machine. I say this because I bought 1 kg fresh mutton mince (which the shopkeeper weighed infront of me) , but when I washed the mince and weighed, it was 605 gms. At the shop the weight was 1 kg because it was along with the blood and unwashed ( thats what I think is the fact). But when I kept it under the water, all the unwanted was washed away and so it weighed lesser than what I bought.
So here is the point, get a weighing machine. Its not very costly and measure everthing you put according to the recipe. If you don’t measure then everytime something will go wrong (especially when the recipe in involves raw papaya, which without measurement will give bitter taste as this recipe is according to 1 kg and not lesser than that). And even in some cases it might be taste salty too. You can never go wrong with weighing maching. And also I always use measurement cups and spoons.

I purchased it a month back.
Used one packet to make galauti kebab. Used another to make lamb burger patty.

Followed the instructions 100% and here’s my suggestion.
Use about 70% to 80% of masala for the said quantity. Works fine.
At 100% it’s spicy. And not in a way that it burns your mouth.
The warmth of the masala hits you from throat down. Great on a cold winter day.
Spice pallet is a surprise even for someone well versed with common Indian spices and masala.
Try making lamb burger patty using this masala. You’ll love the explosive combination of flavors.

This is excellent. I am from Lucknow and the taste is almost 90% close to the Tunday we get in Lucknow. People saying it’s salty, kindly don’t add any other salt or masala, it has everything the kebab needs. I wish they made the packets with larger quantity.

I have been buying their spices for biryani and korma and all and I love it. Not hot so it won’t burn your insides and very flavourfyl. The gaawati masala in particular is perfect to add to any kebabs you make veg or non veg and really hightens the flavour. Just be careful of the salt you add so ensure you taste your dish . All their stuff is great 😃

Product arrived late but safely. The retail package shown in the description was a bos and arrived in pretty cheap pouch. Hope it’s original. Quantity is perfect as described but the actual package gives a very negative vibe though the spice is very good. Seller should note the point and change it soon. Quantity and quality of the spice is good. Definitely recommend if is properly presented

So I love galawati kebab from dastarkhwan in lucknow. I even travelled from Delhi just to eat there and I tried multiple places in Delhi but dastarkhwan was always better. Can’t keep travelling1100kms everytime to eat there so decided to make my own. Based on a lot of review about this spice mix, I decided to give it a try.

And it tasted just like dastarkhwan. Now since there are few negative reviews here’s what I did.

I used a weighing scale measuring every little grams to the exact mentioned quantity in recipe except spice mix. I measured the spice only which was 37 grams and I used 16 grams for half kg mutton.
I had made sure mutton was half kg after grinding. It kind of loses 10 percent during grinding.

I also got 25% fat instead of 100% lean mutton. In hindsight I should have gotten only 10 percent. They kind of broke apart during flipping but still were tasty none the less.

Masala is really good. Just need to follow instruction and use a bit less spice.

Just follow the steps mentioned on the packet and it’s done.
No need to add more spices to the mix. Simply perfect
