Quality wise I don’t have any complaint for this product, it is reasonably good. The only aspect that caught my attention was a “Particular Religious Certification” that this product carries. Amazon can create 2 categories of this product i.e. one with the “Religious Certification” and other in “General”. When the “Particular Religious Certification” has nothing to do with many consumers like me, why should I pay for the certification cost which is part of the product cost.

Though the virtues of Barley were known in his recent book Dr William Li has recommended it above other grains and with good reason. It is good for heart health and diabetes too.It is good for the microibome It is also an ancient Indian grain.
For one having entered the eighth decade of life finding this as a source of gratification.
I cannot recommend it more strongly

Good product… But not value for money… It should be 80 rs kg..which is reasonable.

I wanted barley for it’s reported health benefits including its fibre and positive impact on gut bacteria as well as its slower release of glucose
I have used up two of the five half kg packets bought in one lot.
I made dal parathas with it and they are soft and tasty and easy to use.
Since barley is also a high carb food a diabetic must restrict quantity consumed.
