Purchased this item from Amazon and received 2 days back. The Mfg. date on pack is 6 April 2023 and expiry date is 12 months from mfg. The oil in this paste tastes stale and so do the groundnuts in it. I purchased this as it was not available in shops near me…paid delivery fee of Rs. 50, since I love Pulioagare rice and trusted the MTR brand. But was highly disappointed. What a waste of money.

Strictly ok… Doesn’t taste anything like the famous tirumala temple tamarind rice or the Iyengar home cooked puliogora …. But for non South Indians, a good quick easy meal option..only need to mix a spoonful with cooked rice (you can cook rice in the cooker) and you are all set to have a warm delicious comfort meal for supper. Have it with some pickle and yoghurt on the side.
