- Our High Curcumin Lakadong Turmeric Powder is directly sourced from the organic farmers of Lakadong village of Meghalaya. They follow very traditional farming techniques to produce this special variety of turmeric
- Lakadong turmeric is having the highest curcumin content; considered as the best turmeric in the world. Earlier it was Alleppey finger turmeric from Kerala. It has a distinct aromatic flavor and light brown colour compared to ordinary varieties of turmeric, Minimum curcumin content of lakadong turmeric is 8%
- Handpicked turmeric is sorted and washed three to four times, then slice it into small pieces, sun dried and make powder in small batches. Our turmeric is not oil extracted. This is 100 % free from any kind of pesticides, additives or preservatives

I tried my new bottle of lakadong Turmeric for the first time today. It taste like normal Turmeric, satisfied with the flavour and colour, it had no after taste which I liked as I’m used to fresh ones bought from market and after consumption irritates my throat a lot. I have to use this bottle for awhile to comment on its effectiveness and will edit my comment after using for a month. But my concern for the time being is packging of the bottle. It looked as if it’s been opened. I am not sure if it comes that way. There is no silver foil covering the mouth of the bottle as you can see in the picture, nor the lid properly pressed from all sides and I could easily open the lid with slight twist without any effort. That should not be the case if packaged well. Other users Kindly comment if the bottles are packaged in similar manner.
