I watch Vignaharta Ganesh, an Indian program. They talk about eating Kheer all the time. I was curious and bought a box and I thought it was good. It’s rice pudding! Its really tasty. I remember having rice pudding when I real young. Good Stuff!

It’s too much sugar all at once but it’s tasty as heck. The box makes only a small amount. Following the instructions it’s watery, but cook a little longer it thickens up. I love that it has pistachio in it. If I get it again I think I’ll “cut it” by adding rice of my own, as it needs more rice, plus then it won’t seem too sweet and it won’t seem too small an amount.

I prepared the rice kheer today. I found the taste good and the method of preparation is easy and is explained clearly on the pack. I would have loved to see some cashews too added to the mix in addition to the other additions.
