It doesn’t take off make up. It isn’t worth the money..

Clearly clean make up balm
A make up removing balm, that melts like butter on the skin. You get 50ml, within a nice little tub. You also get a spatula to get some out, so it all stays nice and clean.
This melts beautifully into the skin, you massage it over your make up and you can use it on your eyes too.
I did find for most make up, this works brilliantly, melting make up into a colourful mess, which then wipes off nice and easy. The only make up I couldn’t get it to remove, was my liquid eyeshadow, so either the eyeshadow is just that tough, or this won’t work on long term, stain like make up items.
For the price, I’d think it would work on every type of make up item, so there’s that. The balm itself, is really nice to use, it doesn’t break your eyelashes, it leaves your skin feeling good, with no redness and it works quite quickly into massaging. There are definitely upsides to using this and I do think it’s good quality, I think it should last well, as a little melts a good way around your face, for that I would recommend it. Just be aware that stain type make up isn’t great with it.

I have very sensitive skin and so far no reaction, it has no discernable scent. All in all I am happy with the price

Heard about oil pulling from a YouTuber and wanted to have a go for myself. Looked up oil pulling and found a video from LABeautyologist where she used this. She explained on how to use this and how long to work with this. The balm feels a little like vaseline but it’s not as aquaphobic as vaseline. It had to be used with dry skin, whether it be clean or caked with beauty products. This is so the balm can work and pull out the oily dirt and makeup. If there is any trace of water the ba won’t attach to the oils or dirt. When working it into the skin, she mentioned the 60 second rule where you work it in for at least a minute. I worked it in longer as it is nice to massage to get a deep clean feeling. As I kept working it in, I could feel bumps. I have included the pictures of a few things that I pulled out. I’ve also included a before and after picture of the top of my nose. A before and after of the upper part of the lip. And a before and after of the bottom of my lip. After splashing my face to wash off the balm, it does get a little sudsy. There is another step to oil pulling, but at the end of this, my skin feels clean. The balm feels gentle on the skin, but I’m not sure if people with sensitive skin will get a bad reaction. There is hardly a scent, which is a good thing. But the price of this is a little pricy. But for something that’s really good at what it’s intended for. Plus there isn’t anything like this in local shops, I would say it’s at some sort of value for money. Wish I could have had enough money for the bigger pot.

I’m not one to be super picky with products when the market has barely anything to offer with your specific needs on cleansing balms – such as finding cleansers that don’t take years to deliver; like on the K-Beauty side – plus my skin concerns. Farmacy’s OG green clean formula really enticed me. But I was worried about fragrance and whatnot, so I thought I’d try the ‘Clearly Clean’ version to sate my very inflammation and fragrance-allergy prone skin.
So I got the smaller version for a trial! And I must say, it works lovely. You don’t need a LOT and it’s lasted me a good while. I love how it feels on the skin, it doesn’t cause my erythema to erupt like crazy and after my second cleanse— my skin feels like a babies bum. Not uncomfortably squeaky clean.
It removes all of my product, SPF (needs a little work with water proof mascara of course but it’s doable! that’s already difficult to get off on it’s own so this balm was impressive in regards to it!) I’m seriously considering investing into the bigger size as I know I wanna try this product more, to see if it’s as acne-friendly as it claims. But as of a month of using it?
I’d say it’s a win!
Definitely a little pricey but as inflation goes? Surely; most drugstore stuff is slowly crawling to these price points too.
It has a very mild base-smell as it doesn’t have any fragrances which of course; isn’t the nicest thing in the world. But if you’re like me and don’t want to deal with added fragrance at all, don’t worry! It’s not a put off whatsoever.
