The blades are sturdy put in thick wax paper but shaving is a bit less smooth. One needs more power to shave and it creates high scratch on skin (as a thin layer of skin seems getting scratched out). But number of shaves might ne higher than other blades (especially, the 7 O’ Clock which I have been usually using).
I will edit my review once the first blade jas stopped working…..!

I am new to Double edge shaving. I used Gilette for some years , but the DE shaving is hands down one of the best experience in shaving. I used Pearl Close comb razor and this feather blade lasts a week. I have full beard so I shave my cheeks and chin everyday. Although It’s a bit pricey, I recommend this razor blade.

-Blades are high quality
-you can use it twice or thrice if you shave daily.
-twice for someone who shaves once a week but follow proper shaving preperation. Steaming, soaking, quality shaving creams etc.
-blade disposal slot in the back of the case.
Effortless shaving guaranteed, provided you know how to use a safety razor properly. Don’t take it as an insult but you do need to train your hands and eyes to use a safety razor without a single Nick. It takes practice, patience and a lot of prep work.

These blades used to a very sharp and long lasting blades some 6 months back.
However now the company must have decided to make more profits by deteriorating the quality of the blades.
Despite of paying Rs. 16-17 per blade, it does not stay smooth even after 2-3 shaves.
Stopped using it now and switched to other standard blades available.

Blades are no doubt very sharp and you will feel it from the very first glide of the razor on your cheek. These are probably the one of the most costly blades available in the market.
When it comes to longevity it does not gives me more than 3 shaves per blade. Probably my beard is coarse and dense. Overall sharp and smooth blades. I loved it and would order these blades again.

These blades are the sharpest right out of the pack. So you must be cautious. I have very very coarse beard. This cuts through it like a hot knife through butter. A bit on the expensive side. But if this is the only blade that works for you then it’s very much worth it. There are some other blades like the BIC that work for me a little better but the Feather will always have a special place in my heart as if it wasn’t for the Feathers I wouldn’t have ditched my Gillette Mach 3 sensitive.
The blades come in packs of 10 in a plastic case which has a space behind for the used blades. This is a great feature as you don’t have to throw off the blades directly in the garbage anymore and be afraid of hurting someone unintentionally. I am able to manage 3 great shaves out of a single blade. This is not the universal count as my beard is unusually stiff. And I do 3 full passes and a fourth cleanup pass. When I first tried it I only did 2 pass shaves as I was just getting back to DE shaving and I was cautious about the sharpness of these blades. That time I managed 5 shaves. So if you’re a 2 pass or a single pass shaver you’re sure to get more out of these blades. Also I shave every other day. So the blades have to deal a good deal of hair. Had I shaved every day maybe I could’ve got more shaves too.
One downside is that these blades rust a bit. None of the other DE blades I have tried so far rusted. Didn’t hear anyone else complain on the same. But I do take good care of the blades and as I said none of the other blades I have tried so far rusted. The Gillette Mach 3 at times rusts but that’s in a month’s time. The Gillette Fusion’s single blade on the back too rusts. But that’s a different that’s not what matters now as I am done with the cartridge razors once and for all. But among the DE razor blades these are the only ones with which I have had the rusting problem.

After using various kind of razors with twin or three blade system i now prefer traditional style double edge razor. But good quality blades were not available for them. Now Bombay shaving company has given japanese blades made with platinum coated stainless steel edges. I shave every alternate day and i am getting 12-14 shaves per blade easily. Sharpest blade i have ever used.

The product is good but the towel we get in the set is not of a good quality that should be improved!
Small particles n cloth type used is not good
