Finally I have found a low sugar powder milk brand to settle with. I was used to NIDO branded milk, the one sold in 4 Kg Tins. I am new to India and the only brands I could find in New Delhi were the sweetened and flavoured milk whiteners with limited milk content. if you use those sweetened milk brands with sweetened cereals the combination is so killing! I had to order 4 good packages of this brand when I discovered it on Amazon. The only other best option was Mother Diary, but it seems they have stopped producing that brand as well. I have seen some reviews where people talk about this milk coagulating, I usually mix about 25% parts of this milk with Nestle daily creamer which makes it easy to mix with hot water without coagulating. wish the milk was readily available in the local shops. One thing they should change is the delivery takes too long. This milk deserves five stars if they sort out the delivery times. Keep it up Amul.

This is what I wanted. No Fat and Sugar with added milk protein. Wow. Great product by Amul. Must have for all those who want to have powerful milk drink in the morning or whatever time they want. I mix grinded chia, hemp and flax seed along with cocoa and cinnamon for the taste. Yummy smoothies with powerful effect. I could see my muscles ballooning in few weeks of use. Thanks Amul. Go for it without second thought.
Pros :
1) Get mixed in Hot or cold water equally.
2) two teaspoons create thick milk
3) No added sugar.
4) Fat is almost zero.
5) Protein rich. Must have for gym goers.
Cons:
1) High delivery charge.
2) Takes time for the delivery but not more than 1 week.
3) Nothing to complain about the Product. š

Best skimmed milk powder

God this after realising that popular milk powders (Everyday, Amulya, etc.) had more than 30% sugar. I have no diabetes, but then what’s the point in investing in skimmed milk powder (that advertise low-fat for the calorie conscious) and ending up taking more calories in the form of sugar?
Strangely, Amul Sagar is not available offline, which is a shame.
Its much cheaper (Rs 230/kg excluding shipping) and you get a kg worth of milk powder- no sugar.
Mixes well in both hot and cold water, but definitely better in cold water. If mixing in hot water, mix in half a cup (120ml) first, so you get decent consistency. If you mix in a smaller quantity of hot water, it lumps.
Add sugarfree natura or stevia drops for sweetness.

Most milk powders have instructions written on them, which ask you to mix the powder in warm or hot water for perfect consistency. But, this is a strange powder. It asks to mix the powder in cold water. I do not know why!!!
Like other brands which I use, I tried mixing this with hot or warm water to test it, and lots of lumps were formed, similar to cottage cheese or paneer floating in water. Everyone should note that this is not manufactured by Amul. Amul is just a company which markets or sells this milk powder, which is made by some other company based in Gujrat! The quality is not up to the mark. This does not taste perfect with tea or coffee, like Nestle Everyday.
The only positive thing about this is the low cost and no added sugar. I do not think I will buy this again. I am used to mixing milk powder in hot water to make tea/coffee. With this you have to mix the powder in cold water and then heat it. Something wrong with this company. I do not like this much.

This is a bodybuilders wet dream in a dry form… 35 gms protein per 100 gm..
Also the schmucks complaining of high delivery charges.. order in bulk, it reduces the delivery charges to 66% (I ordered 3kg at 188Rs delivery charge) and be on the lookout for cash back offers (recharged Rs1000 to get Rs100 back) so that brought my delivery charge down to a modicum Rs 88 for 3kg… It is a cinch if you go in this manner especially regular buyers
