Amrutva’s extra virgin and cold pressed Roasted sesame oil; is also referred to as Toasted gingelly oil or Roasted Til oil or Roasted Tal tel is extracted from selected premium quality sesame seeds proudly grown in India. This oil is 100% natural, pure, chemical and preservative-free (100% non-adulterated). Toasted / Roasted sesame oil is dark, golden brown in colour and ideal for Japanese and other Oriental cuisines. We slowly and gently press Roasted sesame seeds in wooden kolhus at a very low temperature. Once, the oil is extracted we sieve filter it with a cloth. This traditional wooden cold press method helps preserve its distinctive nutty flavour, aroma and vital nutrients that are naturally present in sesame seeds, which makes it ideal for daily consumption. Additionally, sesamolin present in cold-pressed sesame oil prevents any further chemical reaction, hence increases shelf-life. Amrutva extra virgin cold pressed Roasted sesame (Gingelly) oil naturally lowers blood cholesterol as it contains MUFA & PUFA which in turn becomes an excellent alternative to refined oils. Amrutva Roasted sesame oil also contains vitamin A & E, protein, calcium, omega-3 fatty acids and omega-6 fatty acids. Amrutva cold pressed Roasted sesame oil has powerful anti-viral, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Amrutva cold pressed Roasted sesame oil is used as a finishing oil for salad dressings, seasoning in stir-fries, noodles, flavouring dips & garnishing. As the flavour of Toasted sesame oil is too strong and its smoke point is too low for it to be used for cooking purposes. It is mostly drizzled on food at the end of cooking to enhance its flavour.
