I buy it specially to sharpen my mixer blades. I grind it to powder and later use it for fish marination, fruit and vegs cleaning, and cleaning my counter sink with salt vinegar, so go ahead buy it. I don’t use it for cooking as it does not dissolve when whole. This is my experience
