Bought it for homemade ramen and it was very nice! We’re not connoisseurs but this miso works for us!

Unique taste, adds that hit of a different flavor to dishes.

This doesn’t taste anything like Shiro. It leans to a more Aka flavour. It can upset the flavour if the dish planned needs a mild sweet taste. Pick something more proven as source.

Love it! My first shiro miso though, so I don’t have a lot to compare. But I have had shiro miso soups in restaurants and I find this tasting just as good if not better. It is also fantastic for glucose spike control, especially if you’re going to have some carb or sweets, a bowl of miso soup and kimchi goes a long way to relatively flatten the spike curve.

I am Japanese and I am satisfied with this miso. But are you dissatisfied making miso soup only with this miso? Of course not. Japanese miso soup is made by adding bonito fish dashi to miso. In other words, it is non-vegetarian. But if you want to make vegetarian miso soup, please add kombu dashi. If it is difficult to prepare it, try adding AJINOMOTO.
