Urban Platter Roasted Unsalted Peanuts, 1Kg [Grade A Peanuts, Groundnut, Singdana, Skin Removed, Vacuum Packed, Fresh, Product of Bharuch]

I pigged out on these as soon as they arrived and within a few hours started feeling sick. I got weak and nauseous wonderingy what could have happened. The next day I came back to eating these nuts and noticed they were tasting funny, similar to dirt with a grimy sensation. The insides of each peanut was full of black mold!

It appears that they were washed off because the outside of the nuts are mostly mold free but you can see just inside the crevice of each one black mold is growing. You don’t really see it until you split it open. After doing some research I found out this mold produces aflatoxins which is extremely dangerous to humans! It causes cancer, miscarriage, and organ failure! They won’t even take a return of this product.

I ordered urban platter peanuts because I’ve enjoyed the quality of their products in the past but these peanuts are extremely dangerous and have obviously been washed in an attempt to save the product after the mold grew putting their customer’s lives at risk.

DO NOT BUY

Being roasted and unsalted , they are good for health. Also Being unsalted, you can’t just keep eating. Roasted gives a nice crunchy feeling. Have them with chana …great combination.

I use these for making my own peanut butter. The packaging is excellent. The roasting is perfect and the flavour is excellent. It makes peanut butter that is more delicious than any peanut butter I have ever purchased both Indian and foreign.
